Multiple Group 1 winning jockey James McDonald will return to race riding on Wednesday after serving an 18month disqualification for betting.
McDonald was suspended from race riding for 18months after he was found to have placed a bet on Godolphin galloper Astern in December, 2015 in which he rode.
James McDonald returned to riding last month where he was able to take part in trials but will ride in an official race at Warwick Farm on Wednesday May 16th for the first time since 15th November 2016.
The former Godolphin stable jockey will ride for his old boss on the day with bookings to trainers John O’Shea, Peter and Paul Snowden as well as leading trainer Chris Waller.
