Group 3 Skyline Stakes winner Hinchinbrook has been transfered from Sydney where he was trained by Gerald Ryan to Victoria and will be trained by Peter Moody with the aim to target the 2011 Melbourne Autumn Carnival.
Talented sprinter “Hinchinbrook” has won twice from nine starts including a Group 3 win in the 2010 Skyline Stakes in which he beat some of the best 3YO in the country including Group 1 T.J Smith winner Pressday who also won the Group 2 Sandown Guineas at his first start in Victoria.
Hinchinbrook was rather disappointing in his last preparation with his best result being a 3rd in the listed Heritage Stakes behind Decision Time and Halekulani, thus connections have opted a change for the son of Fastnet Rock.
Moody will be looking to target Melbourne’s big autumn sprints, including the Lightning Stakes, Oakleigh Plate and Newmarket Handicap.
Hinchinbrook’s career record: 9-2-0-4 : $389,300
