Dwayne Dunn will be out to consolidate his lead in the Melbourne jockeys’ premiership when he rides at Sale on Wednesday.
A treble at Moonee Valley on Saturday moved Dunn to the top of the table, one clear of Craig Williams and Damien Oliver who were both riding at the Royal Ascot meeting.
Oliver is taking a short holiday in Asia and will return for Flemington on Saturday while Williams will be at the Sale meeting.
Apprentice Patrick Moloney, who rode a double at Moonee Valley and also rides at Sale, is the only other premiership contender but is seven winners adrift of Dunn.
