Cult speedster Fab Fevola has died during track work this morning as the 10yo was preparing for his return to racing.
“We thought he just slipped out of the gates but then the rider thought his back had gone so he hopped off and we think he must have had a heart attack,” trainer Dean Binaisse said.
Fab Fevola had 62 starts for 8 wins and amassed over $500,000 in earnings.
