Champion sprinter Chautauqua could be given another chance to continue his racing career.
Updated: Chautauqua won’t race again
Owner Rupert Legh said on Radio TAB this morning he wants to give Chautauqua another chance of racing with a return later in the year the idea as long as stewards allow the horse to trial.
Chautauqua made headlines last year after failing to jump out of the barriers on numerous occasions which saw the horse barred from racing.
Chautauqua amassed more than $8.8 million in prize money and six Group One wins including three TJ Smith Stakes and the Chairman’s Sprint in Hong Kong.
