Melbourne Cup day has arrived and as always the weather and track condition will play a huge part in which horses will win both the undercard races at Flemington and the Cup itself. We take a look at the current Weather Forecast as well as the current Track Condition and potential track rating for the day.

Melbourne Forecast: The weather forecast for Melbourne looks pretty good for racegoers with a top of 19C and no rain so you can leave your umbrellas at home.
Track Condition: Melbourne has received over 10mm of rain in the past 24 hours although that was expected which is a good thing so track managers would have irrigated accordingly. The track is currently a Soft 6 although Flemington is the best draining track in the country so expect it to stay in this range or get upgraded to a Slow 5 at some point during the day or before the first.
