Kathy O’Hara will miss George Main Stakes day after being suspended for careless riding at Warwick Farm on Saturday.
O’Hara was suspended for five meetings for shifting in and causing interference to Winter King aboard Zaratone on the point of the home turn in the Group Three Concorde Stakes (1100m).
Winter King finished second behind the Clarry Conners-trained Decision Time while Zaratone was sixth.
O’Hara will ride at next Saturday’s Group One Golden Rose meeting at Rosehill before starting the suspension and is free to resume riding on September 22.
The suspension also rules O’Hara out of the two-day Newcastle Cup carnival on September 14 and 15.
