The Chris Waller trained Zoustar has zoomed to the top of Caulfield Guineas betting after a stunning win in the group 1 Golden Rose Stakes at Rosehill.
A $17 chance in the Caulfield Guineas before his win today, Zoustar has been crunched equal $5.50 favourite with the Peter Snowden trained Long John.
“His win was totally dominate today, after drawing barrier 17 he had to go back and race wide before blowing them away in the straight,” Centrebet’s Michael Felgate said.
“If he starts in the Guineas, he’s shown today he is the horse to beat.”
Prince Harada, the former $4.50 Caulfield Guineas favourite, has eased out to an $8 chance after finishing 5th behind Zoustar today. Fast N Rocking has also eased from $6 out to $11 after a disappointing run in the Golden Rose.
Golden Rose placegetters, Dissident firmed from $21 into $10 and Bull Point $26 into $9.50 after running an eye-catching third.
