Lightsaber has opened as favourite in the G2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes
Lightsaber and Paulele sit at the top of the market with Sportsbet.com.au for the VRC Sires Produce (1400m) this Saturday at Flemington.
Lightsaber is trained by Peter Moody and was a dominant winner at Sandown last time over 1300m, suggesting that 1400m will be no trouble. Paulele resumed in the Silver Slipper and found the 1100m a bit sharp. Lightsaber holds the call at $4.20, just ahead of Paulele at $4.50.
Kooled is at $5.50 ahead of Readily Availabull, who is a $9 chance.
