A SA trainer has been left red faced after declaring one of his runners at Morphettville today which sparked a betting plunge before the horse finished dead last.
Trainer Trevor Dansie saddled up first starter Chevite in the first at Morphettville and he was not afraid of letting everyone know how good the horse is saying on RSN “He’s an unraced 2YO, so things need to go right, but Tony McEvoy’s odds-on pop will want to be pretty good.”
The son of Moshe was backed from $13 into $3.50 before running last in the small but quality field won by Manzala.

Twitters response:
Chevite $13 into $3.50 at Morphetville and runs dead last. Dare say we won't be listening to Trevor Dansie again when he declares one. Putrid.
