A filly from the Apple Isle has been the real notable horse high up in the all in market for the Thousand Guineas (1600m) following the racing from Saturday.
Mystic Journey, trained in Tassie by Adam Trinder scored a most impressive win in the inaugural running of the Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield, and with that being the case, she’s now $13 to win the Thousand Guineas despite not being nominated.
Of those that are nominated, Spanish Whisper was the main filly tightened in. She was $26 prior to the Jim Moloney but after her ripping run she’s now at $17.
Reginae ($26-$51) and Seabrook ($17-$26) both eased following disappointing efforts.
