Outback Barbie heads the market for the Lough Neagh Stakes
Despite being unknown on wet ground, Outback Barbie is favourite with Sportsbet to take out the Lough Neagh (1350m) this Saturday at Doomben.
The Tony Gollan trained mare was good late two weeks ago in the George Moore and is suited up to 1350m, but is yet to face a wet track and the stable have said previously she’s no good on wet ground. Still, she’s favourite at $4.80, out from $4.60.
She holds the call over Emerald Kingdom, who opened $7.00 and got to $6.00 before settling at $6.50. Best backed has been Soxagon. Opened $12 and is now sitting at $8.50.
