TAB has got behind the push for Australians to get vaccinated so the entire country can reopen and will undergo a name change this weekend in support of the initiative.
TAB will become JAB in an effort to increase awareness of the drive to see Australians get vaccinated, which will in turn assist punters in getting back to the things they love, including their local pub, club or racetrack with their friends and family sooner.
A social media campaign will also be launched, using the hashtag #JABForAustralia, with punters encouraged to share what’s driving them to get the JAB.
Tabcorp Wagering & Media Managing Director, Adam Rytenskild said, “getting vaccinated is now the way to unlock the country; we want Australia to get back to being together, to enjoying each other’s company and (for TAB customers) to do the things they miss the most, like a day at the races and a Saturday afternoon at their local with friends and family.
“TAB is part of the fabric of the human connection Australians enjoy when they’re at the track, cheering their team or at their local. Getting the JAB brings us back together sooner. “
Punters are encouraged to engage with TAB via Instagram, Facebook and Twitter across the weekend on what it is they are most looking forward to getting back to.
