Sydney stayer Mount Popa heads the market in Saturday's Mornington Cup
Lightly raced import Mount Popa heads the market with Sportsbet for the Mornington Cup (2400m) this Saturday, with the winner getting ballot exemption for the 2021 Caulfield Cup.
Team Hawkes trains Mount Popa, who comes from Sydney to race here in search of that Caulfield Cup golden ticket. He heads the market at $3.30 and has been solid since betting opened.
Irish Flame, on the quick back up from last Saturday and is on his home track, is $6.50 on the next line of betting ahead of Defibrillate, who is a $7.50 chance ahead of San Huberto at $8.50, a half point clear of Chapada.
