Stayer’s Cup a wide open betting race

Alakahan heads the odds for the Stayer's Cup

The Stayer’s Cup (2600m) this Saturday at Randwick looks a tricky race to sort out with confidence and that is reflected in the Ladbrokes.com.au market.

The market is headed by Alakahan, a close up third three weeks ago to subsequent Brisbane Cup winner Irish Sequel. He is suited up in trip and brings a class edge. He’s favourite, just, at $4.00.

Bonny Ezra is at $4.20 on the second line of betting, with the different form being Shameless Miss, who has been in good form at the midweeks. She’s rock solid at $4.60.
