Aegon has opened as favourite in Saturday's Hobartville Stakes

Kiwi star Aegon has opened favourite with Sportsbet for the Hobartville Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

The Group l winner makes his Australian debut for the Baker/Forsman camp and looks well placed to make it 5/5 despite a strong set of nominations for the race. He heads the market at $4.

Peltzer is on the second line of betting at $4.20, out from $3.80, ahead of the Team Hawkes North Pacific, who is a $5 chance and been rock solid since markets opened.
