Montefilia is favoured to beat the boys in Saturday's Australian Derby

Montefilia, a star filly, is taking on the boys in the Australian Derby (2400m) this Saturday and is favourite with Sportsbet.com.au.

She was good in defeat two weeks ago in the Rosehill Guineas and should appreciate the rise in trip. $5 she was on Monday and final field is at $3.50 and remains rock solid.

She holds the call over Rosehill Guineas runner up Sky Lab at $5. On the third line of betting is Randwick Guineas winner Lion’s Roar, who is an $8.50 chance.
