Star filly heads odds to win the Australian Derby

Montefilia, a star filly, is taking on the boys in the Australian Derby (2400m) this Saturday and has been the key firmer with the Tab.com.au in their all in market.

She was good in defeat two weeks ago in the Rosehill Guineas and should appreciate the rise in trip. $5 she was on Monday and has been backed, now into $4.50.

She holds the call over Rosehill Guineas runner up Sky lab at $5. On the third line of betting is New Zealand Derby winner Rocket Spade, who is an $8 chance.
