Dawn Passage is the clear cut favourite for Saturday's G1 Stradbroke Handicap
Despite a wide gate and being on the seven day back up, Dawn Passage is the Sportsbet.com.au favourite to take out the Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) this Saturday at Eagle Farm.
The three year old forced his way into the field via a win last Saturday in the Fred Best, an impressively display from near the speed. Jimmy Innes Jr rides and has spent two weeks self isolating for this race. He heads the Stradbroke Handicap market at $4.80, out from $4.50 but is still rock solid.
Two runners share the second line of betting at $8. Trekking, the defending champion and last start Goodwood winner, has topweight and a wide gate to contend with but has class. He is joined at that price by Victory Stakes winner Victorem. Three year old Exhilarates is rock solid at $9.50.
