Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan has declared So You Think the lay of the Spring Carnival and is determined to take the short priced 2010 Cox Plate favourite on this Saturday.
Sullivan said Sportingbet Australia had just wound So You Think’s price out to $1.55 and he was determined to get plenty out of it this week despite already standing last year’s winner for a fortune.
“So You Think is a black out already both straight out and through the doubles but I am keen to go right on with him now at this quote,†Sullivan said.
“He is $1.55 against the likes of More Joyous, Whobegotyou, Shoot Out and New Zealand’s best horse Wall Street.
“I think he is a definite risk especially if the rain keeps coming and we have wound his price back out despite the weight of money.â€
More Joyous is on the second line of betting at $5.50 ahead of Whobegotyou at $12, Shoot Out at $13 and Zipping at $14.
“I know he has been dominant this Spring and he is deservedly a raging favourite but this is the Cox Plate and at 2-1 on, he is under the odds,†Sullivan said.
“We have started to see a sprinkle of money for More Joyous after she passed the vet today but otherwise it has been one way traffic for So You Think and we are more than happy to accommodate the punters.â€
