TAB Sportsbet had her at $2.90 after Wednesday’s barrier draw for the 2400m Classic in which she came up with gate four in the 17-horse field.
VRC Oaks winner Brazilian Pulse drew the rails and was $4.20 second favourite while Group One Vinery Stud Stakes winner Mirjulisa Lass was equal fourth favourite at $13 despite having to jump from the outside alley.
The Clarry Conners-trained Research in 1989 was the last filly to complete the Classic double.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s Group One Galaxy (1100m) attracted a quality field of 13 sprinters with Gai Waterhouse’s topweight Swift Alliance drawing the outside and the Mike Moroney-trained King Pulse barrier number one.
