The key scratching of Glenfiddich has reshaped the market for the Group One Caulfield Guineas (1600m) this weekend.
The Peter Moody trained three year old was high up in the market, but was vetted on Tuesday afternoon and has been scratched. With him holding a decent percentage of the market, it has forced some significant deductions. Ole Kirk was into $3.40 after the scratching and is now sitting at $3.60.
Tagaloa and Mo’unga are both quite solid at $5.50, ahead of King’s Legacy, who has been friendless since the final field and market was released. He is a $7 chance and I dare say will get close to double figures come jump time if early trends are any guide.
