Sandbar heads the market in Saturday's Roman Consul Stakes
The Roman Consul Stakes (1200m) at Randwick this Saturday looks a tough race to sort out with confidence and that is reflected in the market.
Sandbar has the right form lines but has been up a fair while, with not much upside it would seem. He heads betting though at $4.40, out from $4.20. Hot on his heels is Jonker, who is at $5 and is solid enough after opening $4.80.
There’s been no firmers in betting but the horse to definitely keep an eye on is Sesar, first up for Steve O’Dea. He is at $11 and could easily tighten in.
