The Coolmore Legacy Stakes (1600m) looks a nightmare race to sort out on paper but punters have singled one out with confidence to win the feature for the fairer sex.
Silent Sedition, trained by Andrew Noblet, hasn’t raced since being desperately unlucky in the Coolmore Classic (1500m) when wide throughout, eventually going down narrowly at the hands of Daysee Doom. If she gets cover on the weekend, she’s the one to beat and punters agree, backing her into $6.50 after opening $9.00.
Favourite for the race is Dixie Blossoms, with most punters certainly hoping in the back of their mind she can break her Group l duck. She is at $5.50 and rock solid. The one that has been met with good support at odds has been Alizee, who is $11 in from $12. Back to the mile, hard fit, looks an ideal set up for her.
