Godolphin mare Raiment just holds the call in betting to take out the Triscay Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at Randwick.
The four year old hasn’t raced since an unsuccessful Winter Carnival prep in Brisbane where she failed to fire in two runs. Returns off the back of two trials and looks ready to go. She is the favourite at $4.40.
The best backed in early betting has been the Team Snowden trained mare My Country, who opened $7.50 and she has firmed at every call, now into $6. Eckstein ($6-$5.50) and Miss Gunpowder ($8.50-$8) have also had admirers.
There have also been a few each way bets roll in for Just Dreaming who is $12 into $8.50 whilst Hermosa Beach opened at $101, touched $126 but is now at $91.
