1. PRONTO PRONTO (Jason Warren) – J Winks (1)
The colt by Snitzel debuted with an unlucky fourth at Caulfield in the Listed Chairman’s Stakes back in February this year.
He followed that up with an Open Class win at Sandown before rounding out his initial campaign with a second to promising galloper All Too Hard in the Group 2, Sire’s Produce Stakes at Flemington.
Mornington Trainer Jason Warren has prepared Pronto Pronto for his return to racing with a winning Cranbourne barrier trial on the 30th.
He obviously has the ability and respect the Stable’s decision to make the trip north.

2. SHE’S A FOX (Anthony Cummings) – J Bowman (5)
The full sister to Foxwedge returned to racing in impressive fashion winning here a fortnight ago in an Open 2yo race by 3 ¾ lengths.
From an awkward draw, she pushed forward to sit just off the pace before quickly putting pay to her rivals.
That was her second win from three career starts and she’s bred to win more.
Odds: $1.70
3. URQUIDEZ (J Austin) – B Shinn (3)
The colt by Street Sense made his debut in February this year, finishing a distant last on a Slow track and was immediately sent for a spell.
In stark contrast and despite a betting drift (7/2 – 13/2) he returned to racing here a fortnight ago in an Open 2yo (1100m) event and recorded a 2 ¼ length win.
A big type, he was allowed time to find his feet before coming to the centre of the track and finishing impressively.
Expect him to do the same again.

4. SECRET DELIGHT (David Payne) – Tommy Berry (4)
A filly by Encosta De Lago has recorded two wins from four starts to-date.
She recorded back to back wins (on Slow and Heavy tracks) before finishing third behind She’s A Fox last start (beaten 3.9 lengths) after a month’s freshen up.
She was no match for She’s A Fox over the last furlong last start and would have to find more than last start’s beaten margin to turn the tables.
Odds: $26.00
5. RED DYNAMITE (T. Martin) – Corey Brown (2)
There was some big wraps on the this son of Red Ransom and his trainer Tim Martin decided to give him an easy time of it on debut at Goulburn on the 27th July.
Starting at 2/1 on, he certainly created an impression winning comfortably by 3 ¾ lengths, leading throughout.
Jockey Corey Brown rode him on that day and in is barrier trial leading into it, there’s no surprise to see him stick with the horse for this race and from barrier 2, should get his chance.

6. PATSY GIRL (W. Roche) – SCRATCHED
OVERVIEW
From gate 2, expect Red Dynamite to lead. The fact he’s coming from a maiden at Goulburn to a Listed race in town shouldn’t be under-estimated as he has obviously ability and may be able to set his own terms in front.
She’s A Fox will be right on his tail throughout and a repeat of her last start win, should see her winning here again.
Urquidez was impressive last start and the extra 100m of today’s race will certainly play into his favour. Look for him to be finishing hard.
