Punters were quick to back Prompt Response in Tatts Tiara markets
She’s been knocking on the door to win a major for 12 months and punters are warming to the thought of Prompt Response winning her maiden Group l in the Tatts Tiara (1350m) this Saturday at Doomben.
The WaterBott trained mare ran a gutsy second last time out in the Dane Ripper where she did the work in the run and was nabbed late by Invincibella ($13-$15). She’s been best backed post the barrier draw, now sitting at $6 after opening $7 and could well challenge Champagne Cuddles ($5.50) as to who will start favourite.
On the third line of betting is Savanna Amour, who is at $8.50, out from $8. The runner at seemingly crazy odds is Daysee Doom, who is at $14 and has drifted after opening $11.
