Plague Stone has been heavily backed in early Rosebud betting
He got the overdue maiden win out of the way first up and with that being the case, Plague Stone is the favourite for the feature at Rosehill this Saturday, The Rosebud (1100m).
The James Cummings trained three year old produced some great late splits when winning first up at Randwick. Faces a tough ask here and whether or not he can reproduce the deeds from the resumption. Punters think he can because he’s already been $2.80 into $2.60.
The best backed runner has clearly been the Chris Waller trained Charge, who bolted in first up last Wednesday at Canterbury. He opened $9 and that was taken immediately, now into $6.50.
On the second line of betting is Oxford Tycoon at $4.40.
