Jukebox has the form on the board and the punters have launched into the Aaron Purcell trained three year old to take out the Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield this Wednesday.
The son of Snitzel hasn’t raced since the Danehill at Flemington when nabbed late by Catchy. He has been freshened up and his trial last week at Cranbourne was outstanding. He opened $4.80 and was crunched to $3.80. Now sits at $4.00.
He is the new favourite now ahead of the very easy Formality ($3.40-$4) and the unbeaten filly Crown Witness ($4-$4.60). The interesting runners are Summer Passage and I Did It Again. Both haven’t budged from their opening quotes of $8 and $5.50 respectively.
