Trapeze Artist is the horse punters want in All Aged Stakes betting
Trapeze Artist has been backed off the map early with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the All Aged Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Randwick, with some large bets already rolling in.
The son of Snitzel was simply breathtaking when winning the TJ Smith a fortnight back, beating the best of the best Australian sprinting has to offer. Up to 1400m looks no issue and in what could be his farewell, he has been smashed in betting. He’s into $2.20 from $2.50 after touching $2.10.
He completely stifles betting, with the next best being Brave Smash at $7.50, out from $7, with reports he worked brilliantly at Newcastle on Tuesday in readiness for the weekend. No horse in history has won the All Aged after stepping back from 2000m, but that is the assignment for Hartnell, who is at $9.
