Cliff's Edge has been smashed in betting at Caulfield

Cliff’s Edge looks an absolute moral on paper in the 3Yo Sires (1600m) at Caulfield this Saturday and that is reflected in the market as he has been off the map despite the short figures.

The three year old hasn’t raced since the Rosehill Guineas when battling away bravely to run fifth to D’Argento. He drops miles in depth and with the conditions of the race, he’s weighted to bolt in. Punters think so too, into $1.45 from $1.65 and he is largely invested in multis.

The only other significant firmer in the market is the Patrick Payne trained Street Sheik, who is at $7.00 and been supported after opening $12. Temple Of Bel ($12-$10-$11) has had specking at odds.
