Punters plunge on Cox Plate winner in the Tancred Stakes

Punters have been quick to back Sir Dragonet to win the Tancred Stakes

Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet is the strong early favourite with Sportsbet.com.au for the Tancred Stakes (2400m) this Saturday at Rosehill.

The Maher/Eustace trained import was poor in his first two runs back from a spell but last Saturday was much better in the Ranvet. He opened $6 to win on the weekend and is now at $4.80.

Melody Belle opened the $6 equal favourite alongside Sir Dragonet but with the support for him, is now out to $6.50. Sky High winner Toffee Tongue is $8 to $7 while Mirage Dancer is $9.50 in from $11.
