Frosty Rocks is the short priced favourite in todays The Gateway
Frosty Rocks is favourite, and a solid favourite, with Sportsbet.com.au for the Gateway (1400m) this afternoon at Eagle Farm.
The winner of this race gets a free ticket into the 2021 Stradbroke and at the moment, the favourite to do that is Frosty Rocks from Sydney. Bjorn Baker trained gelding who will look to lead throughout and is rock solid as a $2.30 favourite.
Profit, a real eye catcher first up, is $2.60 to $3 on the second line of betting but may firm up given he maps to stalk Frosty Rocks and potentially get last look.
Paniagua won the Country Final last Saturday at Doomben and backs up into what looks a strong race. . Opened $15, then went straight to $6.50, firmed again but has settled at $7.50.
