Wild Ruler is one of the horses specked at odds to win the G1 JJ Atkins
Punters are happy to cast the net a bit wide when it comes to the second last major of the season, the JJ Atkins (1400m) to be run and won this Saturday at Eagle Farm.
As it stands, speedster Rothfire is the favourite at $3.90 after his win in the Champagne two weeks ago. He has been easy though after opening $3.50 and that’s due to some good specking for a number of runners.
The horse that ran third to Rothfire in the Champagne, Wild Ruler, has been $14 in from $17 while The Drinks Cart, 2/2 this prep, opened $26 and has trimmed down to $21.
