Punters are casting the net far and wide when it comes to the BRC Sprint (1300m) this afternoon at Eagle Farm.
Last Saturday the market was dominated by Buffalo River and Taksu, two on speed runners who love getting their feet wet. But, with the meeting washed out and the race now run on a firm deck, they are both unwanted and it’s Soxagon who is now the favourite at $6 in a wide open race.
Best backed at odds has clearly been Oscar Zulu, who is into $7 from $17 and it’s been a sustained push since markets opened on Wednesday. Taksu is on the third line of betting, a half point further back.
