The Cranbourne Cup headlines racing around the country on Sunday and the wide open field has seen punters look for some value.
Last years Cranbourne Cup winner Dr Drill heads the market at $5.00 but there has been some good specking for horses at big prices in the race.
The Trent Busuttin and Natalia Young stable has been in good form of late so there are no surprises to see their gallopers Inverloch and Tavirun backed at big odds, Inverloch opened at $21 and is now into $13 whilst Tavirun is $11 into $7 and perhaps the best backed horse in the race.
Plein Ceil has a had a good preparation and he has been backed well each way at his opening price of $8 and is now into $6.00 alongside the talented Polly Grey who has been knocking on the door.
The Ellerton and Zahra pair of Aristia and Odean have also been met with some support at big odds as has Future Score.
