Punters are keeping their powder relatively dry when it comes to the big guns lining up in the Bobbie Lewis (1200m) at Flemington this Saturday.
Redkirk Warrior and Voodoo Lad, who last raced down the straight in the Newmarket, won by Redkirk Warrior while Voodoo Lad was fabulous against the bias. Redkirk Warrior is the $3.30 favourite, out from $3.00. Voodoo Lad is next best at $4.00 and is pretty solid after opening $3.80.
The big mover has been So Si Bon, who should have won both starts this time in but bad beginnings have cost him. That hasn’t stopped punters from launching in. He did get down to $5.50 from $8.00 but is now at $6.50.
Savile Row has had a nibble, into $18 from $21.
