The Lancaster Stakes (1200m) this Saturday at Doomben looked to be a race in two on form, but according to Sportsbet.com.au punters, it is a one horse race.
Flippant, trained by Team Snowden, an impressive last start Stakes winner at Scone, opened the hot favourite at even money and has been singled out, now into $1.85 and has been the lone significant firmer in betting for the race.
Harlem River, who was an eye catching second to Flippant at Scone, opened $4.50 and has eased a touch, now to $4.60. Others that have eased are Frequendly ($6.50-$7), Banda Spice ($26-$34), Nilette ($61-$71), Opinionated ($21-$31) and Swindlers Miss ($41-$51).
Horses that have been specked at odds are The Bee’s Knees ($67-$34), Stick With Me ($41-$34) and the filly down the bottom, Positive Charge, who has been $26 to $19.
