Gotta Kiss has been heavily backed to take out the Bill Carter Stakes (1110m) this Saturday at Doomben.
The Steve O’Dea trained filly dodged the Champagne Classic last Saturday and most likely won’t run in the JJ Atkins next Saturday in preference for the blacktype this race offers against her own age/sex. She was a strong winner last time out and is tipped to repeat the dose. She opened $2.60 and has firmed to $2.35.
She clearly holds sway, with the second line of betting being $8.50 and it’s shared by three runners: Panna Cotta, September Run and Bellevue Star, all of which have eased from $8.
