Punters are forgiving Broadside and buttering up on the stayer in the feature at Randwick on Monday, the Tatts Club Cup (2400m).
The Waterhouse/Bott trained galloper was most disappointing as a short priced elect last time out in the Christmas Cup (2400m) but he was second up. Punters are giving him another chance and he has clearly been the best backed, into $2.25 from $2.40.
Vassal is solid at $4.50, opening $4.60 and touching $4.40. Destiny’s Kiss was originally $5 out from $3.80 but did touch $4.60. But the move for Broadside has seem him ease to $5.50.
Prince Cheri is $6 in from $6.50 with punters thinking a hard 2400m will be right up his alley.
