Kirini has been crunched to win at the Gold Coast

Punters want a good thing this Saturday at the Gold Coast and they believe they have found one in the staying race, the Ladies Day Fiesta Event Centre Handicap (2200m).

Kirini, trained by Chris Waller, has been a revelation since coming to Queensland, with some very good form behind her, including a last start second to Singing at Doomben. She appeared to open short at $1.85 but punters took and she is now at $1.70.

Stablemate of the fav, The Rumour File, has hit the showers early, out to $7.00 from $5.50. Perilous Love is the lone other runner at single figures, sitting at $8.50, and is rock solid at that quote.
