Champion mare Verry Elleegant is the Ladbrokes.com.au favourite in the feature race at Randwick this afternoon, the Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m).

The all time great hasn’t been at her best this time in but the thought process is that Chris Waller, like he did with Nature Strip last Saturday, will get his star ready for her Grand Final, and potentially her farewell, with a trip to Europe on the cards should she win here. She’s favourite at $3.30.

Anamoe is the one backed to beat her. Despite nervous moments last week with an injury concern, punters are warming to the three year old, sitting at $4. Duais is on the next line of betting at $6.
