Jungle Edge has been crunched in betting for the Sir John Monash Stakes
With raceday rain on the cards, punters are warming towards noted swimmer Jungle Edge in the Sir Monash Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield.
The evergreen sprinter jumped out well at Cranbourne on Monday and gets conditions to suit for this afternoon, with heavy rain forecast at around 3pm onwards. Opened $5 and is into $3.30, and dare say could start favourite come jump time.
Favourite as it stands is Viridine at $2.50, and is rock solid. That pair dominate the market, with the next best being I Am Someone, drifting to $7.50, but has done well on the seven day back up previously.
