Perth Cup market gets a shake-up

Adornment has been a notable firmer in Perth Cup markets

There were a couple of staying races at Ascot on Saturday which has seen some changes to the all in market for the Perth Cup (2400m).

The most significant firmer at the TAB was a horse that ran third, British Bessy, in the benchmark race. She was $71 prior to Saturday and is now into $18. Adornment, who won the race, is now rated as an $8 chance, in from $21.

The feature race was the Ted Van Heemst and there were a couple of firmers from that race, namely Platoon ($10-$8) and He’s A Parker ($71-$51).
