Pandemic has opened up as favourite in the Christmas Stakes market

A Sydney sider is favourite with Sportsbet.com.au to take out one of the features at Caulfield on Saturday, the Christmas Stakes (1200m).

Pandemic, aptly named given the current climate, was a strong winner at Rosehill last time out and despite being a little query at 1200m, he does head the market at $2.90.

King Of Hastings, first up for Team Freedman, opened $3.70 and has eased to $3.90, but is on the second line of betting quite comfortably ahead of Sansom, off a freshen up, is a $5.50 chance.
