Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race Six Number 8 Tommy Gold ($9.00):
Not surprised there has been early interest at odds for Tommy Gold. I think there is enough evidence to suggest he prefers wet ground over dry, so I’m happy to be on each way. Resumes for John O’Shea and does have residual fitness. Two trials have been super, he’ll sit off a fast speed and be very strong late. Hard to beat.
Caulfield Race Three Number 4 Construct ($9.50):
Construct is a Team Snowden trained colt that resumes. Hasn’t raced since his debut in the Breeders Plate when a closing second to subsequent Magic Millions winner Shaquero. How strong is that form? Have to wait and see, but thought his recent Gosford trial was more than encouraging.
Morphettville Race Nine Number 5 Done By Me ($9.00):
The best version of Done By Me can certainly take this out. Phillip Stokes trained mare who is four weeks between runs since racing at Murray Bridge where she was hard in the market but did too much work to get on speed and tired late. Good record at Morphettville and can easily bounce back.
Randwick Race Five Number 10 Mystic Gem ($27):
If you want a bet on something at big odds to knock off the fav, I’d be having it on Mystic Gem. Not sure she beat a great deal when debuting at Doomben two weeks ago but I loved the way she found the line when eventually clear, finishing best to win and running good late splits. She’ll be strong at the end and a win wouldn’t entirely shock.
