Over The Odds – Saturday’s Racing 27/2/2021

Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.

Randwick Race One Number 16 Stunning Mosa ($26):

Took a slice of the early $34 on offer for Stunning Mosa. I couldn’t believe she was that price. Should be half that, minimum, because with respect, this isn’t a strong Highway and she was totally luckless at Muswellbrook. Should have bolted in but had no clear air until it was all over. At the odds, have to be with her.

Flemington Race Two Number 8 Ripcord ($13):

Ripcord is a knockout chance. The Paul Preusker camp is absolutely flying at the moment and this guy is finding form as well. Lovely ride from Declan Bates saw him win impressively at Bendigo last time, and the form has been franked with Shepard bolting up last Wednesday at Sandown. Down in the weights and does no work from the gate.

Flemington Race Three Number 7 Morvada ($12):

Morvada is a very genuine horse for Peter Jolly who will put himself on speed and give his all. That was the case two weeks ago here when leading and he gave a really good kick. Just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Regardsmaree. Lands in front and will prove hard to run down.

Flemington Race Nine Number 5 Yamazaki ($27):

Yamazaki is a quality mare for David Pfieffer that has been freshened up since racing on Magic Millions Day at the Gold Coast when down the track in an on speed race dominated by The Odyssey. The key to her is dry ground, so finding that here is perfect, and she does have an explosive turn of foot when right.
