Over The Odds – Saturday’s Racing 20/2/2021

Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting, amd hopefully we can continue on after finding Kaapfever last Saturday at $8.

Rosehill Race Two Number 15 Texas Storm ($16):

Texas Storm is flying for the Milligan camp and gee he looks well placed IMO. His three runs back from a break have been excellent. First up was good late in a Highway before contesting a couple of Country Championship Previews when having little luck both runs yet kept finding the line. Hard fit now at 1400m, looks a great set up.

Rosehill Race Six Number 5 The Lord Mayor ($10):

I didn’t think there was much wrong with his first up run a few weeks ago at Randwick behind Shared Ambition. Got back in the run in a fast run race and lost sight of the bunny, but was good late in defeat. Will love the step up in trip and J Mac does get on well with him.

Caulfield Race Four Number 4 Spanish Reef ($26):

I think if she is to win another Stakes race, she gets a golden chance here I feel. Sovereign Award looks a comfortable leader, but Spanish Reef has shown previously she can sit handy and be effective. Dig in the ribs, she sits outside Sovereign Award and will prove hard to get past of that eventuates.

Caulfield Race Seven Number 14 Arcaded ($18):

I, like most, got sucked in with the times in the 2YO races the week before the Magic Millions and steered clear of the boys. The times cheer squad are steering clear of the Prelude for the Fillies but visually, I thought Arcaded was dominant. Did she beat much? I’d say no, but she attacked the line with purpose, like she did on debut, and I don’t see 1200m being an issue with her at all. Think she only runs well.
