Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Randwick Race Three Number 4 All Time Legend ($19):
Les Bridge trained four year old that resumes after a pretty promising Autumn prep where he won a couple of races, including one at Warwick Farm. Stable normally has them soft in condition first up, but no doubt he’s got a decent engine under the hood to be competitive here.
Randwick Race Five Number 14 Spencer ($13):
Bjorn Baker would probably be yelling out “FINALLY” when it comes to Spencer because for the first time this prep, he finds firm ground. Despite racing on wet tracks this time in, gee he’s racing well and was excellent in defeat last time out in the Rowley Mile at Hawkesbury. Loves firmer footing and that Rowley Mile form reads well.
Randwick Race Seven Number 2 Finche ($17):
1600m is short of his best, but I reckon the class of Finche will carry him a long way. Connections have eyes on only one race: The Melbourne Cup, and he has run so well in the past two editions. Missed the Autumn to keep him on track for the Spring, his trials have been strong and his work between races last Saturday was outstanding.
Randwick Race Nine Number 7 Quantico ($16):
The key to Quantico is finding firm ground, and that’s what he saw in two runs during the Winter, producing outstanding late splits to win at Newcastle before going to Eagle Farm where he shared the win, but could make a case he should have won outright. Tick over trial was very good and keen to see him at this level.
