Sportsbet have got their markets out for racing this Saturday, and we have tried to find four runners that appears overs in betting.
Rosehill Race Three Number 5 Rumberella ($11):
Ed O’Rourke has done a good job this time in with Rumberella and I think this gelding can measure up in what looks a relatively thin Highway. He has won his past two, both coming over 1700m at Grafton. What’s been interesting in both of those wins is that each time, he has been a significant drifter in betting, so watch the market with him and see what it does.
Rosehill Race Eight Number 3 Sausedge ($10):
Sausedge is a tricky mare to follow but she has got a decent engine under the hood and want to give her another look in town. She hasn’t really measured up in town previously but reckon she has returned in really good order. Good late splits fresh on the Kenso track before going to the Snake Gully Cup where she should have won. Just got too far back in the run. If the tempo is genuine, she can finish over the top.
Pakenham Race Four Number 10 Not Mine ($14):
Not Mine is teasing to win one and I’ll be in his corner again. Was on him when he raced last Wednesday at Sandown. Market liked him as well at a price but it was a race dominated by those on speed. Given he was back in the ruck, he had no chance, but loved the way he closed off when fourth. He’s going well I reckon and can measure up to these.
Pakenham Race Nine Number 2 Arctic Shock ($12):
Team Meagher trained mare that resumed over 1200m at Ballarat, but it was pretty much a barrier trial for her. Got back off the speed and didn’t get a chance to build momentum at any stage. The tick for that race is that they came home in the best L400m and L200m of the meeting, so that looks a strong form reference.
